How to clean your brushes
Clean your makeup brushes by pouring a mild, household liquid soap, a small amount goes a long way, or even some baby shampoo and mix with water. Put some soapy water in your hand and swirl the brushes in until clean. Rinse the brushes and gently squeeze any water and let them dry naturally. Don’t let the brushes soak in the water and bear in mind that soaking your brushes in water can ruin them.
How to recycle your individual compact (powder, blush or eyeshadow). These compacts don't come with a removable pan, but we can make them removable ourselves.
Make sure your product shade comes in a refillable pan. When you're out of product and are ready to purchase a new compact, reuse the old one instead.
Carefully pry out the metal pan, but don't hold the mirror while doing this because it will break under pressure.
Gently insert the refillable pan which will fit right in.
For ease of removal next time try the following: bend a paper clip and hold it with needle nose pliers and heat it until red. Then, burn a hole in the bottom of the compact. If you're not comfortable doing this ask your husband or boyfriend. Otherwise, when you come for an update I can do it for you.
